I did not go to a school That Taught computer skills very well, just your basic skills like typing, excel and powerpoint. What Id like to learn computer programmers know, or the People Who Can upgrade, repair, build and program computers. It Seems like a cool thing to learn, however I dont have the money for school. So what are really good books Some gold event possible Programs That I Could Get So That I Can learn. Also, if I learn a lot about computers, Is There a certification That I Can Go Without for college and earn, One That Would Actually help me land a job if I Should Ever want to go That route? Right now I suck badly with computers, goal They Do interest me, and Id like to learn a lot about ‘em. Thanks for any help.

You can get A+ certified, which is computer repair. I think you’d learn best from taking some classes though.
However, try going to Barnes and Nobles or your local book store and buying a few manuals. Also, talk to people that do it. Look up a forum and try to network. I learned a lot just from dating a guy that is A+ certified. And here I am, answering computer questions XD
